Just a few days before our 2023 Conference, the Jefferson Highway Association will be hosting a special "Sociability Caravan" through Iowa on Iowa's Jefferson Highway Heritage Byway. The special event will be similar to historic caravans of old.  The event will begin in Lamoni, Iowa on the morning of Monday, June 5th and will have subsequent overnight stays in Des Moines and Iowa Falls before arriving in our conference city on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 7th.  The tour will include visiting related JH sites and communities in Iowa and is hoped to help bring further awareness to the JH byway and its future as a Heritage Tourism portal. 

The event will have no registration fee, but costs associated with the trip will be the responsibility of each participant.  We have arranged for special lodging rates at designated lodging. Details will be forthcoming including a participant's informational ZOOM call.
